Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer – Buildings Description Gain experience as a Summer Intern with Stantec and set the foundation for a rewarding engineering career. This internship is ideal for students in their second or third year of mechanical engineering or related studies and offers an opportunity to work across a broad range of projects. What We Provide 10‑week (400 hours) internship with a structured program. A starting salary of $29.90 per hour with the potential to progress to a permanent graduate role. Work‑life balance. Scope of Work This internship with the Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch Buildings team offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience on a range of building services projects, including healthcare, commercial, residential and mission‑critical infrastructure. You will learn the project lifecycle from concept design to construction and commissioning, and gain hands‑on experience in mechanical systems design such as HVAC, energy efficiency, sustainability solutions and critical infrastructure.
