Coffee machine on site Competitive hourly rate $30- $35gross per hour plus 20% night and weekend allowance. Main responsibilities No two days will ever be the same! Here is ataste of what you will be involved in… Patienthandlingandmonitoring. Urgenttriage following ARC protocols(includingresuscitation,stabilisationandassistingwithassessmentasnecessary); Assessmentoftheurgencyandseverityofpresentingproblemsthroughhistorytaking,andexaminationbeforereferraltotheappropriatevet. Assessmentcanbeviatelephoneor1:1consultationwithpatient. Follow-upofpatienttestresultsandcommunicationwithclientswhereappropriate. Administrationofmedications, including dose calculations,andchartedinstructionsinatimelyandaccuratemanner. Collectionandsubmissionofdiagnosticsamples. Preparationofpatientsforprocedures. Provisionofpatient’sbasicneeds(food,water,exercise),comfortandhygieneinaccordancewithpracticestandards. Monitoringofanaesthetics. Assistingotherclinicalteammembersasrequired. Undertakingpatientdischarge,ensuringclientsunderstandthediagnosis,outcomeandafter-carefollow-uparrangements. Maintaininghighstandardsofinfectioncontrol. Assistinginsurgery. Preparation of notes, invoicing and liaising with clients and referring vets. Hours of work Our nurses work various shifts to fit around the clinic requirements and work life balance The shifts are 10-12 hoursusually starting at 6pm or 6am. Shifts are offered to our group of casual nurses andare granted to those who accept the shifts and are available to work.
