Working closely with Maintenance Supervisors, Tradespeople, Warehouse and Operations teams, you'll ensure maintenance work is effectively planned, resources are available and downtime is minimised. Key Responsibilities Develop and coordinate weekly and long-term maintenance plans for the underground mobile fleet Schedule preventative maintenance, shutdowns and major component change-outs Plan labour, parts, tooling and contractor requirements Coordinate maintenance activities to maximise equipment availability Maintain and update maintenance schedules within the CMMS Monitor equipment performance and maintenance KPIs Liaise with Warehouse personnel to ensure parts availability Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Prepare maintenance reports and planning documentation Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the operation About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner in mining, heavy mobile equipment or heavy industry Strong understanding of mobile maintenance planning and preventative maintenance strategies Experience planning maintenance for underground or surface mining equipment Experience using CMMS software such as Pronto, SAP, MEX, Ellipse or similar Strong organisational and planning skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Current Driver Licence Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance Desirable Previous experience within underground gold or metalliferous mining operations Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrician or Mechanical Fitter Reliability or maintenance planning qualifications Experience with CAT, Sandvik, Epiroc, Normet or Komatsu underground equipment Current First Aid Certificate Build Your Future Here Opportunities to join a mining operation at this stage are rare.
