\n We are a well-established Chinese restaurant located in Auckland, known for our authentic cuisine, friendly service, and busy dining environment. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and support our daily operations.

Position: Restaurant Manager

Location: Auckland

Fulltime: 30 hours/week

Salary: $28-$35/hour

Key Responsibilities

l Oversee daily restaurant operations with strategic oversight and operational control to ensure efficient service and business performance.

l Plan menus in consultation with chefs and manage food service standards

l Organise and coordinate special events and functions

l Manage purchasing, supplier coordination, and pricing in line with budget requirements

l Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory and financial records

l Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations

l Maintain a clean, safe, and professional dining environment

l Engage with customers to gather feedback and address service concerns

l Recruit, train, roster, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff

l Support reservations, guest reception, and service operations when required

Skills and Experience Required

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience or a relevant qualification (Level5) in hospitality/Business management/Marketing/Accounting and Finance, etc.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and lead a diverse team.
\n
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
\n
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
\n
