Job Description

Overview IDEXX is seeking a passionate Product Manager to drive the development of our latest software platforms, including Vello, designed to connect veterinary practices with their clients and pet owners. As a Product Manager II, you will have the opportunity to work on an exciting new platform central to the IDEXX software portfolio. Our software business is undergoing a transformation, evolving from a service for diagnostic customers to a customer‑centric narrative that supports tens of thousands of practices worldwide. Responsibilities Conduct market and user research. Become the product expert and evangelist. Own the business case. Maintain a meticulously groomed backlog of well‑scoped user stories. Drive sprint planning and refinement. Provide ongoing engineering support and serve as the point of contact. Proactively communicate internally and externally. Measure and report on success. Manage dependencies with other teams and squads. Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative B2B and B2B2C veterinary software products. Understand market and user needs, gather product requirements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Develop, define, and execute product strategies and roadmaps, including business case justifications and cost‑benefit analyses for product initiatives. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—engineering, marketing, and design—to deliver high‑quality products on time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in product management, preferably in the B2B/B2C space. Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done. Skilled at working effectively with cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.
