Job Description
Overview D2 Process provides a full range of professional engineering services for both new and retrofit projects, from our offices in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The company specializes in process design and project delivery mainly for the food and beverage sector. D2 Process supports clients across the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to commissioning. Team members collaborate closely with customers to improve efficiency, reliability, and compliance in complex processing environments. Responsibilities This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in our new Christchurch office. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and budget tracking for new and retrofit projects in sectors such as food and beverage, industrial, pharmaceutical, and wastewater. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, monitoring progress, and resolving issues to keep projects on track. The role involves close collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders, preparing status reports, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Project Manager will also support expediting activities, logistics coordination, and inspection processes as required to ensure timely and successful project outcomes. Qualifications Strong project management skills, including experience with complex industrial or process-related projects in a hygiene environment. Experience in expediting practices to keep project materials and deliverables on schedule. Knowledge of inspection processes, including coordinating and documenting inspections to meet quality and regulatory requirements. Relevant post-secondary education in engineering, operations, or a related field. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance practices in industrial or process sectors. Proficiency with project management tools and software.
