Working closely with Operations, Maintenance Planners and Technical Services, you'll coordinate planned maintenance, shutdowns and breakdown response while driving continuous improvement in plant reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and supervise the fixed plant maintenance team Coordinate planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities Ensure the safe and reliable operation of the processing plant and fixed infrastructure Allocate work priorities to maximise plant availability and minimise downtime Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel Oversee planned shutdowns and major maintenance activities Monitor maintenance performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, site procedures and safety standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the operation About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter/Welder, Mechanical Engineer or similar Previous experience leading maintenance teams within mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial environments Strong knowledge of fixed plant maintenance, including crushers, mills, conveyors, pumps, piping and rotating equipment Experience coordinating shutdowns and preventative maintenance programs Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills Current Driver Licence Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance Desirable Previous experience within underground gold or metalliferous mining operations Supervisory or leadership qualifications Experience with CMMS software such as SAP, Pronto, MEX or Ellipse Current First Aid Certificate Reliability or maintenance planning experience Build Your Future Here Opportunities to join a mining operation at this stage are rare.
