Job Description

About pro clima pro clima inspires and educates people to create healthy, durable and energy‑efficient buildings to live, learn, work and play in — now and for generations to come. Our products and systems are trusted across New Zealand’s residential and commercial construction sectors, and we back them with deep technical knowledge and genuine care for better building outcomes. The role This technical role is about our customers — builders, building consent officials, and everyone in between. It’s hands‑on, based at our pro clima Hub in Auckland, with occasional travel across New Zealand. You’ll demonstrate our quality building products and systems to an audience of one or twenty, support customer enquiries through to the sales process, and work closely with Education, Technical, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams. What you’ll do Training and technical delivery Deliver practical product and technical training to customers and staff from the pro clima Hub and locations across New Zealand. Present confidently to groups of varying sizes, adapting your communication so it’s clear and relevant to the audience. Ensure all information and training content is technically accurate and up to date. Support the development of technical literature, installation documentation, and educational displays. Contribute to prototype design, testing, and demonstration builds. Collaborate on video content creation across digital platforms. Support new product and system roll‑outs. Keep the training venue ready for action. Customer support and sales Provide advice and support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and in person. Track customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions using our CRM. Collaborate with Marketing to ensure content is accurate, practical, and industry‑relevant. Contribute to ongoing accuracy of brochures, catalogues, and product data sheets. Be a brand ambassador — always representing pro clima’s values. What you’ll bring We’re looking for at least 3 of the following: Vocational education in carpentry, joinery, or construction. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction sector. A degree in Engineering, Building/Applied Sciences, or a related field. Knowledge of the NZ Building Code. Experience in training, presenting, or customer engagement. Certified Passive House Tradesperson — or a willingness to work towards it. Personal attributes Genuine interest in improving building standards in New Zealand. Excellent people skills — verbal and written. Comfortable in front of a camera. Reliable, self‑motivated, honest, and hard‑working. Socially confident with a natural ease in direct customer contact. Curious, lifelong learner. Great sense of humour. How to apply Send your CV and a short cover letter to Nikki Peck at [email protected] by 31 July 2026. In your cover letter, tell us what draws you to this role and what you’d bring to the team. We’re a small, committed crew — personality matters as much as the CV. Only applicants with the right to work in New Zealand will be considered. A current driver’s licence is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
