About the role We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive MasterData Specialist to join our Energy Services division. In this role, you’ll play a part in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and governance of master data across our business systems. From fleet and equipment to customers, vendors, and materials, you’ll ensure data is consistent, reliable, and aligned with organisational standards. You’ll work closely with teams across the business, supporting data-driven decision-making and helping improve processes through high-quality data management. What you’ll be doing Create, update, and maintain master data across ERP and related systems Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all databases Perform regular audits and data cleansing to maintain high data quality Identify and resolve data issues, duplicates, and discrepancies Support data governance processes, standards, and naming conventions Collaborate with procurement, finance, supply chain, and IT teams Assist with data-related queries and user support Contribute to data migration, system upgrades, and new system implementations Document processes and support the development of training materials About you You’re highly organised, detail-focused, and enjoy working with data. You’re comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and you take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You’ll bring Experience with data entry, data management, or similar roles Exposure to ERP or master data systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tools Understanding of data governance and data quality (advantageous) Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Data Management are preferred but not essential What’s in it for you Make real impact across Aotearoa in a stable and future‑focused sector.
