Overview Home to the famous Bluff oyster fishery, the Foveaux Strait offers a rugged, unforgettable experience – and we’re looking for qualified, sea‑hardy crew to join a close‑knit team based on Stewart Island. This hands‑on, physically active role works a 4‑on, 4‑off roster and supports safe operation of the vessel. Responsibilities Deliver memorable journeys for guests by serving food and drinks, sharing local stories, and keeping the vessel shipshape. Assist with luggage, freight, line handling, and support the safe operation of the vessel. Maintain a professional, energetic presence throughout the shift. Qualifications Maritime experience and a love for the sea. Full New Zealand driver’s licence (essential). Excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Experience on the Foveaux Strait – a plus. Forklift licence – an advantage.
