About the Role As a Team Administrator (Renal), you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of specialist renal services by providing high-quality administrative and reception support to patients, whānau, clinicians and the wider healthcare team. This is a varied and rewarding position where you will be the first point of contact for many patients, helping to create a positive experience while ensuring the smooth coordination of clinics, referrals, patient records and day-to-day administrative functions. Working in a busy outpatient environment, you will use your organisational skills, attention to detail and customer service expertise to support the delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centred care. About the Team / Service / Location Our Renal Outpatients Team provides specialist assessment, treatment and ongoing support for patients with kidney-related conditions across Hawke's Bay. Working closely with nurses, specialists, allied health professionals and administration colleagues, the team is committed to delivering high-quality care and improving health outcomes for our community. Based at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, you will join a supportive and collaborative team that values professionalism, respect and continuous improvement. About You As a Team Administrator, you will be a proactive and organised professional who enjoys supporting both patients and clinical teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Previous administration experience with strong computer and data‑entry skills. A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and maintain accuracy. A professional, reliable and adaptable attitude with a strong attention to detail. An understanding of confidentiality, cultural safety, and a commitment to equitable health outcomes and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
