We are looking for an Administrator to join our Infrastructure Development team on a fixed‑term basis to cover an internal secondment. You'll be part of a collaborative team that delivers projects vital to our district, using your administration, coordination, and customer service skills to help make a real difference in our community. Based in our purpose‑built facility in central Whangārei, you'll provide contract, financial, and administrative support, helping to keep our systems, records, and day‑to‑day operations running smoothly. Working closely with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of important infrastructure initiatives across the district. What you will do: Provide broad administration support to the Transport and Community Infrastructure Group Support contract administration, documentation, procurement and tender processes Coordinate meetings, inspections, purchase orders, records and general team support Maintain accurate data and information for reporting, tracking and decision‑making Support departmental customer service activities and contractor interactions Assist with process improvements, system support and effective records management Help keep key administrative processes running smoothly during the fixed‑term period We value people who are organised, adaptable and confident working across a range of tasks and systems.
