Centre Chef

The Role We are looking for a Centre Chef to join us at Bear Park Henderson. As our Chef you will be responsible for providing nutritious, balanced and delicious meals for up to 95 children daily. We embrace creativity and encourage everyone in our centres to explore new, fun ways of doing things, an approach that extends to our kitchens. You will be well supported by our kitchenhand, working in a large kitchen located in the middle of the centre, allowing wonderful interaction with our teachers and children. Our team is welcoming, friendly, supportive and fun. We work together to ensure we provide our children with the best, from their nutrition through to their learning environment. This role has great working hours of 7.30am - 3.30pm however we can be flexible for the right candidate. You will have a Food Safety Certificate along with a cooking qualification. You will have proven experience with budgets and a strong understanding of catering for food allergies and intolerances along with driving and upholding high health and safety standards. As our Chef you will proactively engage children in the cooking and serving food processes, and create memorable, positive experiences around food and sustainability. Why Bear Park?
