Job Description

Auckland Live is the leader in performing arts, culture, entertainment, and events in Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau, and is Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest performing arts platform. Auckland Conventions, Venues & Events facilitates and delivers exceptional events, including meetings, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, and awards ceremonies for 10 to 3,000+ people. Responsibilities Source all critical information relating to staffing of events and establish requirements for the staff rosters Allocate required staff and produce rosters for the Event Services department, cafés and other departments as needed Communicate roster changes with teams, track availability and absenteeism, identify current and future staffing shortages Actively maintain the Humanforce rostering system to ensure the application works efficiently for the business and staff Contribute to the development and maintenance of database, systems, policies and procedures within the Event Service department and provide administrative support Work alongside the Rostering Support Administration team, and provide administrative support for the Operations department, including general administration tasks as required to support the department Qualifications Experienced rosterer capable of managing workload efficiently and effectively Ability to work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage and build relationships with staff of any age and background Organised, able to retain information well, and well‑developed skills in the Microsoft Office suite Familiarity with Human Force and Momentus is an advantage Flexible and collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a dynamic team environment Benefits Competitive salary, long service leave and learning and development opportunities Opportunity to work with a dedicated and respected team that shares a passion for making a difference Contribute to Auckland’s growth and development by ensuring the right outcomes are achieved for the region Access to many benefits and discounts through the Auckland Council Group, including financial services and insurance, entertainment, lifestyle discounts and more Tātaki Auckland Unlimited is an equal‑opportunity employer (EOE) and is committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
