ConsultANZ is seeking a Site Engineer and Project Engineer for a well-established civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across New Zealand. About the Role This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects spanning water infrastructure, three waters, marine works, structures, treatment plants, reservoirs, and general civil construction. You'll join a collaborative team delivering technically challenging projects while gaining exposure to a range of high‑profile infrastructure works across New Zealand. Main Duties Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and construction records. Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to support successful project delivery. Identify and resolve construction and engineering issues in a timely manner. Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) processes and project standards are consistently met. Foster strong communication and collaboration across project teams and clients. Requirements Minimum of 2 years' postgrad experience in civil infrastructure. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer within civil, construction, mechanical, or infrastructure projects. Exposure to sectors such as water, three waters, treatment plants, reservoirs, marine works, structures, or general civil construction is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and project delivery. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Confident and proactive approach to problem‑solving. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Competitive Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 base salary (depending on experience).
