#J-18808-LjbffrThe Senior IoT Sales Engineer acts as a key link between Neura’s technology and its customers, enabling the successful adoption of IoT solutions across the water, energy and other sectors.
\nThe role is responsible for developing a deep understanding of client challenges and aspirations to identify sales opportunities, translating customer needs into practical, value-driven solutions, and supporting both direct sales and channel partner engagements to drive account growth and financial performance.
Responsibilites\nKey responsibilities for the role include:

- Identify and close direct sales opportunities for Neura within target markets, particularly the water and energy sectors. \n
- Lead the development of proposals and contracts, with support from delivery teams, ensuring alignment with client goals. \n
- Support channel partners in progressing and closing sales opportunities. \n
- Work with customers to define requirements and collaborate with Product Managers to determine appropriate solutions. \n
- Support customer and project teams to successfully implement Neura’s solutions. \n
- Proactively develop and execute account growth plans to maximise long-term value. \n
- Take ownership of delivery quality by working closely with capability teams to meet and exceed client expectations. \n
- Collaborate closely with product teams to represent client needs, ensuring services and solutions remain relevant and impactful. \n

- Information Technology (IT) principles and systems. \n
- Energy and/or water sector network technologies and operational environments. \n
- Strategic selling methodologies and solution-based sales approaches. \n
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. \n
- Proven ability to identify growth opportunities, shape solutions and convert them into commercial and profitable outcomes. \n
- Strong understanding of client delivery environments and sector dynamics, enabling credible advisory and solution-shaping capability. \n
- Outcome-focused mindset, with the ability to deliver measurable business value for both clients and the organisation. \n
- Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to achieve strategic objectives and performance targets. \n
- Experience in Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and/or related digital or industrial solutions. \n
- 3+ years’ experience successfully selling technology solutions into government (central or local), energy, water or enterprise accounts, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. \n
- Experience using strategic sales methodologies and tools (e.g. Target Account Selling (TAS)). \n
- Strong business acumen with excellent written communication, business writing and presentation skills. \n
- Highly organised with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, high-performing team. \n
Qualifications / Professional Certifications required
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, IT, or related discipline. \n
- Proven experience in client/account management, business development or delivery oversight. \n
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and deliver profitable outcomes. \n
- Experience managing complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams. \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. \n
- Professional certifications in project management, business analysis or strategic account management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CBAP). \n
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI or Digital Twins. \n
