Urgent Care Doctors - Expressions of Interest

Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley District

Location: Kenepuru Accident & Medical Clinic, Kenepuru Community Hospital

Contract: Regular or casual overnight work, or day / evening / weekend shifts on a casual basis

You must be currently based in New Zealand and hold current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)

We’re looking for Urgent Care trained doctors or doctors with equivalent experience to come and join our highly skilled, vibrant team in Porirua, Kenepuru Accident and Medical Clinic based at Kenepuru Hospital.

The clinic sees approximately 36,000 patients per annum and services the population of the Porirua basin. It is staffed by Capital & Coast employed nurses and administrative staff. The service is an RNZCUC accredited clinic, employs Urgent Care Physicians, and contracts with independent medical staff as well as linking with local GPs to cover the roster.

We are looking for people who can demonstrate the following skills/experience on their application:

• Currently registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)

• Urgent Care Physicians / Trainees
\n
• GP confident in Urgent Care
\n
• Need to be able to work independently
\n
• To set and maintain consistently high standards of medical care
\n
• Relevant training and experience
\n
