Working closely with Development, Production and Maintenance teams, you\'ll install, maintain and extend underground services to support the ongoing advancement of the mine. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain and extend underground ventilation, water, air and dewatering services Install and maintain underground reticulation, pumps and pipelines Carry out service line extensions as mining progresses Assist with ventilation ducting installation and maintenance Operate underground service vehicles and support equipment Conduct routine inspections and identify hazards or maintenance requirements Maintain underground work areas and ensure housekeeping standards are met Complete operational records and shift reports accurately Work closely with Underground Operations and Maintenance teams Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the operation About You Previous experience as a Service Crew Operator within an underground hard rock mining environment Experience installing and maintaining underground mine services Strong understanding of underground mining safety practices Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Current Driver Licence Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance Excellent communication and teamwork skills A proactive attitude and commitment to operational excellence Desirable Experience within underground gold or metalliferous mining operations Experience operating integrated tool carriers (ITs), telehandlers or service vehicles Current First Aid Certificate Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications Additional underground mining qualifications and certifications Build Your Future Here Opportunities to join a mining operation at this stage are rare.
