Working closely with the Processing, Metallurgical and Maintenance teams, you'll ensure the highest standards of gold recovery, security, safety and operational performance while maintaining strict compliance with site procedures. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor the Intensive Leach Reactor (ILR) and associated gold recovery systems Carry out gold room operations, including electrowinning, smelting and bullion handling Monitor process performance and optimise gold recovery Complete sampling, reagent additions and routine operational checks Conduct routine inspections and identify process or equipment issues Assist with plant start-ups, shutdowns and maintenance activities Maintain accurate production, bullion and operational records Ensure compliance with gold security, environmental and safety procedures Work collaboratively with Metallurgical, Maintenance and Processing teams Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the operation About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Previous experience in a gold processing plant or mineral processing environment Experience operating ILR systems, gold room equipment or precious metal recovery circuits is highly regarded Understanding of gold recovery processes, electrowinning and smelting operations Current Driver Licence Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict operating procedures Good communication and teamwork skills Desirable Previous experience within underground gold or metalliferous mining operations Experience with intensive cyanidation, electrowinning, smelting or bullion production Current First Aid Certificate Additional mining or process plant qualifications Experience with laboratory sampling and process monitoring Build Your Future Here Opportunities to join a mining operation at this stage are rare.
