Registered Nurse – Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital. Permanent, Part Time, 56 hours per fortnight (0.7FTE). About the Role As a Registered Nurse – Acute Assessment Unit, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care to patients requiring rapid assessment and short‑term treatment. You’ll use your clinical judgement to assess, plan, and deliver care, working closely with patients and whānau in a dynamic acute setting. This is a fast‑paced and varied role where you’ll manage changing priorities, support patient flow, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and safe care. You’ll also play a key role in patient education, ongoing assessment, and contributing to a positive team environment focused on delivering excellent outcomes. About the Team/Service/Location The Acute Assessment Unit at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital is a key service supporting urgent patient assessment, treatment, and flow through the hospital. You’ll be part of a collaborative team committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high‑quality care.
