Junior Software Engineer Re‑Leased is looking for a Junior Software Engineer based in Napier. The role is full‑time and on‑site. Responsibilities Write and maintain code according to system requirements and technical specifications, ensuring it meets quality standards. Provide support with diagnosing and correcting complex production issues. Test your work to ensure it meets team quality standards. Identify technology limitations in the current application and code. Pair‑program with more senior engineers; learn through code review and knowledge‑sharing sessions. Take initiative to debug, fix and improve existing code. Qualifications Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core and SQL Server or a similar tech stack. Skills to design and build great web applications with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript. Ability to write robust, high‑performance code and initiative to debug, fix and improve existing code. Flair for developing excellent user interface and experience. Owner's mindset: initiative, pace, curious about the customer and product. Desire to work in a busy, fast‑paced, dynamic environment with a great team. Bonus: exposure to Microsoft Azure, Docker, Redis or Cosmos DB. Technical Stack & Work Practices Our stack is built on Microsoft Azure. AI is integrated into daily workflows, and DevOps practices use Terraform for IaC and Azure DevOps for deployments.
