About the Role The Assistant Property Manager will support the operation of buildings and management of the portfolio on behalf of our client. Reporting to the Alliance Director and working closely with the client’s property lead, you will assist with the management of both the ATM and car park portfolios across New Zealand, including approximately 180 ATMs and associated car park sites, to help ensure a consistent and high level of service delivery. This is an excellent junior‑level opportunity, ideal for an enthusiastic graduate or someone early in their property career, combining day‑to‑day portfolio administration, lease management, database accuracy and account management with support and coordination of team activities. Key Responsibilities Support the team’s daily activities, including administration, coordination and stakeholder follow‑up, while working closely with senior team members. Oversee critical dates, renewals, expiries and rent reviews across the ATM and car park portfolios, while supporting the implementation and delivery of assigned portfolio strategies in partnership with the client. Assist with financial administration, including rent roll updates, ad‑hoc payments, subtenant income collection, budgeting, forecasting, accruals and monthly variance commentary. Act as a key point of contact for landlords and internal and external stakeholders, helping resolve queries and maintain accurate data for car parking and ATM allocations. Support the sourcing of new ATM locations and termination of existing locations when required, while liaising with the Fleet Team regarding car park locations. Understand, comply with, and complete all mandatory CBRE HSEQ policies, standards, and incident reporting requirements. Requirements A bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 1–3 years of relevant experience, although an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered. Enthusiastic graduates with little to no prior property experience are highly encouraged to apply. Exposure to corporate real estate, property administration, banking, or finance is a plus but not essential. Licences and qualifications: A Real Estate Licence, CPM or RPA designation is highly regarded but not essential. A valid driver’s licence is required for occasional travel. Strong maths skills are required, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions and financial calculations, along with a good understanding of financial terms, principles and logical analytical problem‑solving. The ability to communicate sensitive, complex or difficult information is important, supported by strong communication skills to convey performance expectations, motivate team impact and resolve complex issues. In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organisational skills and an inquisitive mindset are required, along with the ability to work from the office a minimum of four days a week. Location Auckland, New Zealand #J-18808-Ljbffr
