Job Description
The University of Auckland is New Zealand’s pre‑eminent research‑led university. This role supports the delivery of complex genomics research programmes within the Liggins Institute. Role overview You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects under the Liggins Institute Genomics platform, including the newborn genomics programme, cerebral palsy project, and rare disorders programme. These projects have national impacts and help families and individuals suffering from genetic diseases in New Zealand. Position This is a fulltime, fixed term opportunity for 24 months with a salary range of $98,700 – $121,900 based on skills and experience. Responsibilities • Manage complex projects across diverse stakeholder bases and motivate people to meet project timelines. • Keep projects delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. • Coordinate with biomedical, bioinformatics, and clinical partners. Qualifications Proven experience successfully managing complex projects. Master’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification. Proficiency in project management software and methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the clinical trial landscape is advantageous.
