Working closely with Mine Management, Technical Services and Maintenance teams, you will coordinate daily activities, mentor operators and maintain the highest standards of safety, productivity and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise underground development and production crews Coordinate daily mining activities to achieve production and development targets Conduct pre-start meetings and communicate shift objectives Monitor work quality, productivity and compliance with mine plans Mentor, coach and develop underground operators Identify and manage operational risks and workplace hazards Liaise with Technical Services, Maintenance and Mine Management to coordinate work activities Complete production reporting, shift documentation and safety records Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and site procedures Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the operation About You Previous experience leading underground mining crews in a hard rock mining environment Strong understanding of underground development and production mining Demonstrated leadership and people management skills Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts in a fast-paced mining environment Current Driver Licence Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive attitude and commitment to operational excellence Desirable Previous experience within underground gold or metalliferous mining operations Experience as a Shift Supervisor, Leading Hand or Mine Supervisor Current First Aid Certificate Supervisory or leadership qualifications Underground mining certificates of competency Experience operating underground mining equipment Build Your Future Here.
