This is a great opportunity to work close to home, avoiding the hustle and bustle of city traffic, and working the hours that fit your schedule. This is a Casual position , hence, there are no guaranteed weekly hours. Rotating roster covering Monday – Sunday Hours of work are typically 6:00am to 2:30pm. As part of our Housekeeping team, you will help create a homely and healthy place for our residents by providing an exceptional cleaning service to the Care Home. You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society’s most vulnerable, ensuring our 103 residents across rest home, hospital, and specialised dementia (psychogeriatric) levels of care have a clean, safe environment to live in. Where You Will Make an Impact Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule. Managing cleaning supplies. Meeting of daily schedule to ensure that residents’ rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults or issues to the Household supervisor. Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage. Treat residents with respect and dignity. What About You Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable. Be prepared to roll up your sleeve and get stuck into whatever needs to get done. Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents’ lives. Must have flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings. Reliable transport or travel arrangements. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
