We welcome you to work in our friendly, fun and vibrant Oncology Outpatients Department – the largest in NewZealand – where nurses enjoy a wide range of autonomous practice opportunities in a supportive environment. About the Role Working in the Oncology Outpatient service involves opportunities to work in the Chemotherapy Day Stay Unit, Radiotherapy Clinic, and the Acute Oncology area. The role requires nurses with acute assessment skills and a good understanding of cancer treatment options. You will provide excellent nursing care to patients and their whanau. About You Experience in Oncology or Haematology is preferable. Registered with the Nursing Council of NewZealand. Current Annual Practising Certificate. Ideally 3years post‑registration experience in an acute hospital setting. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a supportive nursing team committed to evidence‑based practice. Experience working with a multi‑disciplinary team. Positive attitude, innovative and adaptable approach to practice. Excellent communication skills and a real commitment to providing patient care.
