Mō te tūnga About the role We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our friendly payroll team, specialising in processing ACC Work and Non-Work-related claims. We are a high performing team that provides accurate and timely pay outcomes with excellence in customer service to our 11,000 whānau. This is an environment where you will learn and develop as a professional, gaining key experience in a large organisation. You'll manage a variety of ACC payroll processing activities, including leave and compensation management, and liaising with our Third Party provider. A typical day would see you processing complex payroll transactions, peer‑reviewing, handling queries and investigations, and of course, the morning quiz. This is a professional and collaborative environment with the opportunity to work alongside motivated leaders and colleagues who are inclusive and engaging with a focus on training and development. Daily stand‑ups, fortnightly training sessions, team catch‑ups and social events are key support and collaboration activities. About you You will have some payroll experience, or be a recent Graduate in a field like HR or Commerce who is looking for a supportive environment to develop in. Skills and experience A customer service focus in all you do Payroll experience, an eagerness to learn quickly and own your own learning The ability to manage relationships well Problem solves effectively Sound experience with MS Office, especially Excel and Word Benefits The midpoint of the salary range is $71,651 per annum, and the full range (85%–120%) is $60,904 – $85,982 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
