Working closely with Underground Operations, Technical Services and Maintenance teams, you'll ensure paste fill is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with engineering requirements. Key Responsibilities Operate underground paste fill systems and associated equipment Monitor paste delivery, pressures and fill performance Install, inspect and maintain underground paste reticulation and pipelines Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment or system faults Assist with paste line changeovers, maintenance and repairs Maintain safe and efficient underground work areas Complete operational records and shift reports Work collaboratively with Underground Operations and Technical Services teams Ensure compliance with site procedures and safety standards Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the operation About You Previous experience in an underground hard rock mining environment Experience working with paste fill, backfill systems or underground services is highly regarded Strong understanding of underground mining safety practices Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Current Driver Licence Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance Excellent communication and teamwork skills A proactive attitude and commitment to operational excellence Desirable Previous experience within underground gold or metalliferous mining operations Experience operating paste plants or underground paste distribution systems Current First Aid Certificate Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications Additional underground mining qualifications and certifications Build Your Future Here Opportunities to join a mining operation at this stage are rare.
