We operate deep‑sea trawlers in New Zealand and Australia and are committed to safe, sustainable practices. Responsibilities Work on deck of a deep‑sea fishing trawler supporting all deck operations. Operate and maintain deck and fishing gear, handle and stow catch, repair net damage, and support bridge watch duties. Follow safety protocols and assist in factory processing operations as needed. Requirements Minimum 1 year of deck experience on a deep‑sea fishing trawler. Current deck hand certificate (QDFH ticket) or similar qualification. Strong teamwork, safety focus, and ability to follow instructions. Legal entitlement to live and work in New Zealand. Committed to a permanent role; residency required. Working Conditions Trips of 2‑6 weeks on and 2‑6 weeks off. Immediate pay/retainer plus bonus. 8‑hour on / 8‑hour off shift rotation with meals provided. Full career development support from skipper, mates, and crew of 36. Health & Safety Must pass a satisfactory pre‑employment drug test. A medical assessment will be required.
