Project Manager / Senior Project Manager | Asphalt

Project Manager We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of asphalt paving projects across the Bay of Plenty. Whether you're an established Senior Project Manager or an experienced Project Manager ready for your next challenge, you'll bring strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and a track record of delivering civil infrastructure projects safely and successfully. Key Responsibilities Lead tendering, pricing reviews, and project handover for asphalt paving contracts Oversee the delivery of multiple projects, from planning through to final account Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete reporting Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Lead, mentor, and support a team of Engineers and Supervisors Ensure quality, safety, and environmental requirements are met across all projects What You'll Bring A qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience Proven experience delivering asphalt paving or civil infrastructure projects in New Zealand or comparable markets Strong knowledge of contract management, pricing, and cost control A collaborative leadership style with experience developing and supporting project teams A commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental excellence Working knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act and NZS3910 A full Class 1 driver licence What’s On Offer Competitive salary package + vehicle Relocation support available KiwiSaver employer contribution matched up to 4% In-house technical training and leadership development programmes Career opportunities across Higgins and Fletcher Construction A range of retail benefits for you and your family to enjoy We are proud of our diversity and see it as one of the things that make us better together. #J-18808-Ljbffr
