About the Role We are seeking a proactive and organised Risk Coordinator to join our team in Tauranga and support the ongoing development of a strong risk culture across the Bay of Plenty. This role plays an important part in coordinating risk activities, maintaining organisational risk information, and supporting both clinical and non‑clinical teams to identify, understand and manage risks effectively. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to coordinate risk reporting, analyse incident and risk information, identify trends and emerging issues, and provide meaningful insights to support leaders and governance groups. You will also contribute to building risk awareness and capability by providing guidance, education and support to help teams strengthen quality, safety and continuous improvement practices. Responsibilities Coordinate risk activities. Maintain organisational risk information. Support clinical and non‑clinical teams to identify, understand and manage risks effectively. Coordinate risk reporting across the organisation. Analyse incident and risk information. Identify trends and emerging issues. Provide meaningful insights to support leaders and governance groups. Build risk awareness and capability by providing guidance, education and support. Strengthen quality, safety and continuous improvement practices. Qualifications Strong coordination, organisational and relationship management skills. Experience analysing information and preparing reports for different audiences. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience using databases, reporting tools or incident management systems. Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience working within healthcare or another complex organisation.
