Job Description Lumino Dental in Wānaka, New Zealand is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional dental care and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Assist dentists during dental procedures by preparing operatories, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed by sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean and organized work environment Greet and assist patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit Provide instructions to patients regarding pre‑ and post‑operative care Restock and maintain dental supplies and inventory Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling billing as needed Hours for this role Monday 8:15am - 5:15pm Tuesday 8:15am - 5:15pm Wednesday 8:15am - 5:15pm Thursday 8:15am - 5:15pm Friday 8:15am - 4:00pm Qualifications Dental assistant experience preferred however not essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental staff Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures precisely Proficiency in dental practice management software (if applicable) Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service Additional Information Fun, supportive team located in beautiful Wanaka! #J-18808-Ljbffr
