Responsibilities Embed a proactive safety culture across operations, influencing behaviours, building capability, and strengthening accountability at every level of the business. Engage with people on the shop floor, support investigations, coach leaders, facilitate training, and drive continuous improvement. Lead injury management and return‑to‑work processes, champion worker participation, and ensure safety systems remain practical, effective and aligned with legislative requirements. Qualifications Proven experience in a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner or Advisor role within manufacturing, logistics, construction or a similar operational environment. Strong working knowledge of New Zealand health and safety legislation and best practice. Ability to influence, coach and challenge leaders to improve safety performance. Experience leading incident investigations, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives. Confidence facilitating engaging training and developing leadership capability. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the business. A practical, solutions‑focused approach with the confidence to balance operational needs with safety outcomes. A relevant Health and Safety qualification (or equivalent experience) and a current full driver’s licence.
