This role focuses on an existing portfolio within Trades, Organisations and Builders while offering opportunities to grow through new business identification and customer re‑activation. What’s involved This role offers the chance to build lasting relationships with a varied customer base of residential builders, trades and local businesses, expanding market share and shaping strategies to deliver exceptional service. You will work closely with the Bunnings Warehouse in Blenheim and the Commercial Services team across New Zealand. Responsibilities Forge and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders Develop and execute strategic sales plans to pursue growth opportunities Identify new business and re‑activate previous customers within the portfolio Deliver exceptional service, ensuring customers receive the best price, range and support Collaborate with warehouse and commercial teams across the South Island to meet customer needs Maintain a strong industry knowledge and confidence in cold calling and client visits Requirements Ability to manage and exceed KPI’s and gross profit budgeted sales Experience selling products and/or solutions that cover the customer’s entire build needs Strong stakeholder relationship building skills, both internally and externally Strategic thinking to identify local opportunities and combat competitor activity Budget management aligned to company expectations Commitment to safety Experience in the building industry is beneficial; reading building plans is not essential Inclusive Workplace & EEO Statement We welcome applications from individuals of all ages, cultural backgrounds, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
