The company is expanding its presence across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland into a state‑of‑the‑art three‑site campus, including a world‑leading Global Experience Centre in Grey Lynn. Responsibilities Own the implementation of design engagement strategy across the region, leading a high‑performing team of Design Development Managers (DDMs) and Experience Centre staff. Personally manage a portfolio of tier‑1 Specifiers, Designers, and Architects (SDA). Bridge the global design engagement strategy with regional execution, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the Fisher & Paykel brand. Lead and develop the regional team as a single cohesive unit, setting clear expectations, coaching individuals, and fostering a collaborative, proactive, outcome‑focused culture. Maintain a direct portfolio of tier‑1 SDA relationships and drive brand engagement and specification outcomes with discipline and intent. Oversee the Auckland Experience Centre, ensuring every interaction reinforces our design‑led positioning and builds loyalty. Translate strategy into clear regional execution plans with measurable commercial outcomes, leveraging Design Engagement toolkit, Salesforce, and Programa platforms. Stay current with design, architecture, and specification trends to sharpen engagement approach and maintain authoritative voice with SDA audiences. Provide outstanding customer experience to all guests visiting the Experience Centre, building brand advocacy. Manage staffing, administration, operations, budget, and reporting activities within the Centre. Qualifications Experienced leader capable of setting strategic direction and executing hands‑on tasks. Proven capability in managing high‑value client relationships in a luxury or design‑adjacent environment. Strong commercial acumen and genuine appreciation for design and architecture. Excellent communication skills to tailor style across designers, consumers, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership. Project and event management experience to juggle multiple priorities. Experience delivering outstanding customer experience at a flagship brand environment. Knowledge of design and architecture industry, ability to read floor plans and elevations. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools. A relevant bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, design, architecture, or a related field is desirable, though equivalent hands‑on experience in a similar leadership role will also be considered.
