Freight Operator

Overview We’re looking for a Freight Operator to join our Christchurch branch! Shift Details Monday – Friday 4am – 12.30pm About the role Mō te tūranga: In this hands‑on role, you’ll load and unload freight, scan, sort, and keep everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same – it’s fast‑paced, physical work where teamwork is key. Key Duties Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units. Achieve branch operational objectives by using On‑time to scan freight efficiently. Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner. Maintain good working relationships. Communicate effectively within a team environment. Qualifications Clean Full NZ Class 1 License Forklift License with OSH cert Dangerous Goods Endorsement Customer‑focused attitude Communication and teamwork skills Benefits Our staff welfare trust will cover 80% of your medical bills up to $1500 per year.
