Ngā Kākano Ka Puawai i Te Reo Māori was established in 2016 from a community call. Now, an opportunity exists for an energetic, dedicated, fully NZ registered teacher to join our Kerehana whānau in our composite Year 7–8 Māori Bilingual Unit. Whether you are a confident reo speaker, returning to strengthen or begin your connection journey, we will support you to grow within a whānau‑centred environment. Tamriki centred. Guided by Te Kawerau ā Maki, we work hand in hand to create mana motuhake, kaitiakitanga, whānaungatanga, auaha, and mātauranga Māori spaces for our community. Our manawawera is that tamariki learn to make a difference. We encourage them to stand up for what is right, challenge unfairness, respect everyone’s mana, and protect the promises of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
