Wellington Senior ultrasound role supporting the Charge Sonographer Perform ultrasound examinations to a high standard Access 5 weeks’ annual leave, professional development, and EAP Hewhakamāramamōtetūrangamahi | About the role We are seeking applications for a Senior Sonographer in Pacific Radiology Wellington‑Manawatū. In this position you will gain the opportunity to provide high‑quality ultrasound imaging to patients and referrers of Pacific Radiology, while supporting the Charge Sonographer and wider ultrasound team. This is a permanent, part‑time role of 16 hours per week. The successful candidate will: Conduct ultrasound examinations to a high standard, in accordance with internal policy and agreed ASUM/ASA and industry guidelines. Provide clear instructions and explanations to patients and caregivers before and throughout each procedure, ensuring a high level of care. Support the Charge Sonographer, including providing cover in their absence, and assist with training student sonographers. Ngāpūkengaerapuneimātou | About you A professionally recognised ultrasound qualification and a current Annual Practising Certificate (NZ – MRTB). Proven excellence in delivering patient care, ideally within a healthcare environment. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, and competent interpersonal skills.
