Assistant Health Centre Manager - Northland Region Corrections Facility

About the role We are looking for a motivated leader to assist in managing our primary health services team at the Northland Region Corrections Facility (NRCF). You will report to the Health Centre Manager, help the team—comprising both clinical and non‑clinical staff—respond to emergencies, consult with external health services, and deliver health education for a high‑needs population. About you Proven experience across primary, community, secondary, or tertiary care, supporting patients with acute and complex needs. Strong understanding of professional, ethical, and legislative requirements, ideally within a prison or secure setting. Well‑developed skills in communication, financial awareness, leadership, and team management. Demonstrated ability to apply sound business and operational thinking within a healthcare environment. Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate who lives and breathes our Kaupapa. Experience, qualifications, and registration in New Zealand are highly desirable. Salary Starting salary step 1: $135,670 per annum.
