Massage Therapist

Bliss Day Spa & Reflexology Newmarket is hiring skilled massage therapists with 2+ years' experience or a massage certificate. Applicants must have great guest service, professional presence, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings. Expertise in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Balinese massage, or Chinese Reflexology preferred. Right to work in NZ is an advantage; visa support available for the right candidates.

Bliss Day Spa & Reflexology Newmarket is looking for exceptional massage therapists with expertise in Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, Balinese massage and Chinese Traditional Reflexology.

Skills & Experience
\n Therapists must have a minimum of two years of verifiable experience
\n Or Massage certificate.

You should possess outstanding guest service, impeccable
\n presence, technical and training skills. You will bring your natural
\n charm, massage industry experience and flexibility to work
\n weekends and evenings.
\n Having an existing right to work in NZ is an advantage. However, work visa support will be applied to the right candidates.

Job Description
\n - Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing.
\n - Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation &relieve muscle tension.
\n - Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and provide rehabilitation advice.

- Assessing the clients’ physical condition and case history and advise on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
\n - Perform therapeutic massage in accordance with best practice.
\n - Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the storage and preparation of massage materials.
\n - Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the massage working areas.
\n - Follow all company safety procedures.
\n - Work with a positive attitude and follow all lawful instructions.

About the Role
\n You will provide reflexology, therapeutic body massage (both dry deep tissue and oil), hot stone massage and cupping (if you can) to our clients in our day spa. Minimum 30 working hours guaranteed, maximum 48 hours per week. Training will be applied (paid). You will be paid monthly into your nominated account.
