Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington and Te Puna Hauora – School of Health is seeking registered nurses to work as Clinical Tutors supporting our Master of Nursing Practice programme on a casual basis. Key responsibilities: Clinical Learning Environment (CLE) support for students including completing clinical learning assessments and communication with the relevant course co‑ordinator. Providing simulation support for designated courses. Providing Tutor and student consultation and support. Assisting relevant teaching staff and course administrators to support course assessment processes (assignments, tests, practical assessments and exams). Providing a client focused approach to current students ensuring that they are responded to in a professional and responsive manner and that all opportunities to enhance the student experience are given. This includes monitoring and following up on non‑engaged students. Ō pūmanawa - About you Key requirements: Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with current practicing certificate (Nursing). Completed Postgraduate Certificate and/or engaged in ongoing Postgraduate Study, Masters or Professional Doctorate/PhD in the respective subject area.
