Overview Registered or Enrolled Nurses are invited to join the Wairau Hospital casual pool. These positions provide a flexible working arrangement across a range of shifts and clinical areas within the hospital environment. Responsibilities Provide ad‑hoc shift coverage for leave and illness across acute nursing areas. Work traditional AM, PM and Night shifts as well as flexible hours (e.g., 09:00‑14:00, 10:00‑14:30, 14:00‑18:00, 18:00‑23:00). Support clinical teams in a dynamic environment, maintaining high standards of patient care and communication. Requirements Registered or Enrolled Nurse (New Zealand). Minimum of 2 years post‑registration acute nursing experience. Willingness to work AM, PM, Night shifts and flexible hours. Excellent clinical and communication skills with a positive "can‑do" attitude. Location and Team The pool operates primarily at Nelson and Wairau Hospitals but may also support other regional sites.
