We're looking for a Customer Services Representative to join our busy Auckland team. This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role where you'll work closely with customers, planners, dispatch, drivers, ports, and container parks to ensure every container movement is coordinated accurately and delivered on time. Why this role matters You're not just answering phones or processing bookings — you're helping keep New Zealand's container network moving. Every booking you process, every customer update you provide, and every issue you resolve contributes to the smooth movement of containers throughout the country. Your work helps ensure our customers receive the high level of service TDL is known for. The key responsibilities of this position are: Build strong relationships with key customers, ensuring their container transport requirements are met Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally Process bookings and maintain accurate customer and shipment information within our transport management system Work closely with Planning, Dispatch, Drivers, Ports, and Container Parks to coordinate daily container movements Monitor and update job information, ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the delivery process Prepare customer reports and operational documentation as required Resolve customer queries and service issues efficiently Check and reconcile daily driver run sheets and operational information Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Promote and support a strong Health & Safety culture To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience: Previous experience in customer service, container transport, freight, or shipping is advantageous Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications A proactive approach with strong problem‑solving skills Ability to work collaboratively within a busy operations team Positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service What we offer Join TDL, the specialist container transport division of the Mainstream Group Stable, full‑time employment with a proudly Kiwi‑owned and operated business Supportive team environment where your contribution makes a difference Career development opportunities across the wider Mainstream Group Modern systems, experienced leadership, and a strong safety‑first culture Be part of a team that keeps New Zealand's container network moving every day If you're organised, customer‑focused, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced operational environment, we'd love to hear from you.
