About the role The Gastroenterology Department: Collaborate in the endoscopy service and to the broader Gastroenterology team of consultants, specialist nurses for IBD and Hepatology, and the National Bowel Screening Program co-ordinators. Upskill in the gastroenterology field and learn technical skills for assisting with flexible endoscopic procedures. Support a diagnostic outpatient service, and to be exposed to a different type of nursing practice. Participate in our after-hours acute service roster. Expand your knowledge in areas like population bowel screening, inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease. About you Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand Already hold work rights as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused Experience in the gastroenterology and/or flexible endoscopy field will be advantageous.
