This is a full-time, fixed-term position for a period of six months , working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm . In this role you will: Work in a team providing the village with an effective maintenance/preventative maintenance service ensuring the safety, repair and appearance of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds Assist residents in their homes with repairs and maintenance Ensure that all health and safety policies are adhered to, to ensure the safety of residents, staff and visitors Work closely with and support your colleagues About You To thrive in our varied environment you will have: Previous experience in a Maintenance role, a trade qualification or just completed an apprenticeship Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude Proven customer service skills and ability to build rapport with residents The ability to work in a team environment or autonomously as required Reliable, friendly and professional manner Please note that, although we often welcome applications from overseas candidates, due to immigration requirements, we require applicants to have New Zealand work rights for this position.
