Our specialist team offers a broad range of services to support our clients by helping manage and respond to evolving cyber threats. Our Services Strategy and Governance: cyber maturity assessments, third‑party risk services, Virtual CISO on Demand, compliance assessments (e.g. PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2), security strategy development, security framework development, privacy assessments, security metrics and reporting. Transformation: security program delivery, security architecture design and review, identity and access management, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), security operations services. Cyber Defence: penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, pre/post implementation controls reviews, cloud security services, disaster recovery and business continuity, insider threat services, security analytics, IoT security services. Cyber Response: threat hunting, cyber response maturity assessments, incident response, threat intelligence. The Opportunity As a member of our cyber security team that sits under broader digital consulting, you will manage client engagements focused on identifying, assessing, and managing digital, cyber, and AI‑related risks, assessing their business strategies, understanding their technology environments, and providing actionable recommendations to help them strengthen their ability to manage cyber risks and threats. We are seeking a forward‑thinking Assistant Manager or Manager to work across a broad range of industries, advising clients on governance, risk and compliance (GRC), control design, and practical technical solutions to strengthen digital trust, cyber resilience, and the responsible use of emerging technologies. Experience in Big4 consulting or professional services is highly regarded and will be an advantage. Day To Day You Will Plan, manage, and deliver cyber security engagements across a wide variety of sectors and organisations, including maturity reviews, cyber security and technology risk assessments, offensive security engagements, third‑party risk and control effectiveness evaluations. Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, developing collaborative relationships and working closely with specialists across the consulting team. Participate in client proposals and grow team capabilities. Uphold KPMG’s reputation through the quality, expertise, judgement, and innovation you bring to your work. Work comfortably at pace while maintaining high attention to detail across multiple projects simultaneously. What You’ll Bring To Our Team 6+ years of career experience, with at least 3 years in cyber security. Deeper experience in one or more of the cyber security domains: Strategy and Governance, Cyber Security Assurance, 3rd Party Risk, Offensive Security, MDR/EDR, DFIR, Resilience and Continuity, Identity. Experience in a client‑facing cyber security role. Demonstrated ability to help grow and mentor junior members of the team. Practical experience in helping organisations mature their cyber security capabilities. A relevant tertiary qualification and industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 27001) including vendor accreditations. Experience managing expectations and individuals at various levels and collaborating across service lines and technical disciplines.
