The role and responsibilities This pivotal leadership position works closely with senior leadership, our SENCo, and kaiako to ensure equity for our ākonga. You will: Coordinate systems: Co lead fortnightly Kaitiaki hui alongside our DP/SENCo, Well-being Coach and RTLB. Lead kaiawhina: Guide, mentor, and coordinate the timetabling and professional development of our Kaiawhina. Facilitate transitions: Co-construct smooth transition schedules for incoming neurodiverse and priority ākonga. Manage resourcing: Collate data to successfully secure MoE funding streams (ORS, RTLB, IRF). Partner with whānau: Build trusting relationships, placing the tamaiti at the center.
