Wellington based | Full-time | Permanent 4.4 weeks annual leave | Wellness allowance after 12 months Midpoint of $66,838 dependent on experience. What you’ll do Are you a highly organised coordinator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment where quality, responsiveness and attention to detail matter? Join our Government Services team and play a key role in supporting the Ministry's accountability to Ministers, Parliament and the public. Coordinate Ministerial, parliamentary and official information workflows, including logging, tracking, filing, reporting and responding to requests while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Support the delivery of the team's work programme by coordinating requests for information and advice, preparing reports and presentations, and maintaining accurate records and reporting systems. Provide proactive administrative and logistical support, including coordinating meetings and events, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and assisting with workflow management across multiple workstreams. Build strong relationships across the Ministry and with key stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes, systems and service delivery. Ko ngā pūkenga ōu – What you’ll bring Experience in a coordination, administration or business support role supporting multiple stakeholders, projects or workstreams. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, work under pressure and attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a collaborative approach and a commitment to high‑quality service delivery. A proactive mindset and keen eye for detail, with a passion for improving processes and supporting team success.
