About the Role Our service looks after the care of medical oncology and haematology patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive therapy, or patients who have recently returned from radiation therapy in Dunedin. Some of the key nursing tasks are: Administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapies and associated supportive therapies or procedures; Psychosocial assessment and support. The service currently operates two days per week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays; however, this schedule may be adjusted based on changing needs. About the Location Oamaru is located in the Waitaki district, offering a range of lifestyle amenities and natural attractions for residents and visitors. Qualifications and Experience Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC; Must have NZ working rights – visa sponsorship is not offered for this role; Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals; Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills; The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused; Recent experience in an acute setting.
