About the Role As a Registered Nurse Relief Team, you will provide high‑quality nursing care across a range of clinical areas, supporting patients and whānau while contributing to safe, effective and compassionate healthcare delivery. This unique role offers variety and flexibility, allowing you to apply your clinical skills in different wards and specialties while responding to changing service needs across the hospital. No two days are the same in the Relief Team. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams, undertake comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and support positive patient outcomes. About the Team/Service/Location Our Relief Team provides flexible nursing support across clinical services at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. The team plays an essential role in maintaining safe staffing levels and ensuring continuity of care, working collaboratively with wards and departments throughout the organisation. As part of the Integrated Operations Centre, you'll join a supportive team that values professional development, teamwork and delivering exceptional patient care to the Hawke's Bay community. About you As a Registered Nurse, you will be a flexible and adaptable practitioner who enjoys working across a variety of clinical settings and thrives in a collaborative environment. Current Nursing Council of New Zealand registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills. IV certification/designation and a commitment to maintaining clinical competence. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, equitable health outcomes and patient‑centred care.
